Here is a useful guide to working out what stock you may need to run a bar.
It doesn't matter if you are running a large scale event or just a small venue such as a wedding or community fundraiser, making sure you don't run out of alcohol or end end up having too much left over is a good sign of a well run bar.
I have done various size events in my time as the bar, from large country fairs of upto 80,000 people to household cocktail parties, and it always comes down to the right product range and the right quantities.
