Covid Safety

Dark Olive Covid-19 Safety

This guidance has been updated on 15th February 2022 based on government announcements from the 12th July 2021 confirming that all events can take place from the 19th of July. Please continue to monitor this page for our latest advice and information ahead of the event.

Running safe events for our communities is our priority

We are highly committed to the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and the wider community. We have adopted the NHS COVID Pass for venues and events in England to ensure a safe event for everyone involved:

We ask all attendees to bring with them (either on their phone or as a printed copy) a copy of their NHS COVID Pass valid on the day of event entry. You will be asked to show your pass every time you enter the event space so please keep it to hand at all times during the event.

How to get one?

You can get a NHS COVID Pass, obtained most easily via the NHS App, if you have been double vaccinated 14 days prior to the event or you have a negative LTF or PCR test within 48 hours of creating the pass. You can find more information on the NHS COVID Pass for events here

Additional Onsite Safety Measures

More information on what we are doing and what you can do to ensure any event goes ahead safely.

Please pay careful attention to all communications sent out from our event team regarding the event and registration process. Mark us a ‘safe sender’ so these important updates come straight into your inbox. You can find instructions on how to do this here.

Check out our agenda, the location of the venue, and plan any meetings in advance to get the most out of the event in the safest way possible.

If you have a temperature of higher than 37.5°C or any COVID-19 symptoms, we politely request that you refrain from visiting our event. You can find out more about the symptoms for Covid-19 here

Please ensure you have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 contract tracing app AND the NHS App if you plan to use it to display your NHS COVID Pass on entry to the event.

During the Event:

We will ask you to wear face masks in more confined environments to ensure this event goes ahead safely. We will have a face masks available at the entrance to the event for every attendee if you forget your own.

If required, we will be providing extra space within the venue to give visitors the room for social distancing. This will include more spaced-out networking areas and theatres. As organisers we are managing this event professionally to reduce crowding and monitor it throughout the day. We encourage you to minimise touchpoints, be aware of those around you and follow the signage at the event. When walking around the event, we ask you to please keep to the left of any gangway to minimise paths crossing. We are implementing a no handshake policy. Please refrain from this or sharing business cards with one another. Exhibitors are encouraged to used data capture devices, to ensure contact-free sharing of business details.

For the purpose of personal hygiene, hand sanitiser stations will be provided but please bring your own personal supply if possible. Please sanitise your hands upon entry to the event and after touchpoints.

To ensure the safety of all, the venue has introduced enhanced deep-cleaning measures, with an additional focus on high-frequency touchpoints, such as lifts, counters, toilets, doors, seating, meeting areas and handrails.

After the Event:

We are passionate about ensuring the safety of our visitors and exhibitors. In order to keep everyone safe, please have the NHS Track and Trace app installed on your mobile device. Using the app will allow for the local authorities to contact you if there is any need to. Please ensure you give accurate information throughout the registration process.

Tell us how we did by emailing We highly value the feedback of all our visitors & exhibitors and would love to hear from you on anything you enjoyed, anything we can improve on and also how you found the safety measures at our event. Keep an eye on your emails after the event.

Our COVID-19 Safety Plan reflects the requirements of the UK government, the local authorities, our industry association, AEO (Association of Event Organisers) and the venue at which the event is hosted. As new developments arise over the coming months, the approach will continue to adapt, and we will keep the community informed of any changes. If you have any questions, please email us at and we’ll be happy to support you.
